SUPPORTING SELF-ADVOCACY
The African Network for Developmental Disabilities, ANDD has Self Advocacy as a prioritized area. In cooperation with ANDD and NFU– Norway, Inclusion International has given some of its member organizations the opportunity to conduct workshops for Self Advocates in Africa. The project started in January 2008 and since they have trained self advocates at national level in the following Inclusion International/ANDD member countries: Uganda, Namibia, Swaziland, South Africa, Kenya, Zanzibar, Tanzania and Malawi.
